Inver Models was commissioned by the London Science Museum to produce an engineering model of James watt’s historical Newcomen engine. Commissioned for display, we very much appreciated being given access to the original by its custodians, the Glasgow Hunterian Museum, which enabled us to ensure that every component (all of which were newly manufactured) could be patinated and distressed to mimic the original.
