Inver Models was commissioned to produce this architectural model for Inverness Campus , when plans for Inverness College were just beyond the conceptual stage. The model was timber veneered with stylised colours for buildings and trees, and featured etched copper canopy detailing. Peter Naulls worked in-house for many years at Michael Hopkins Architects before setting up Inver Models, this enables him to draw on a range of stylised approaches which many model-makers fail to appreciate. As model-makers based just outside Inverness this was very much on home ground for us and a delight to be involved with. Other architects’ models have gone to Belfast, Aberdeen, Dundee, Glasgow, Edinburgh, even as far as Sheffield, Birmingham and London.
