Components requiring a bronze casting pattern can frequently be seen in the workshop. This one is a very straightforward plaque; all the lettering has a taper angle to aid mould-release and a shrinkage allowance has been added. Most fonts and styles can be accommodated as well as artwork, embellished borders and curved plaques. We don’t make patterns of an artistic nature but architectural fittings such as grills, handles, balustrades can all be supplied as well as more ambitious sculptures such as cars, planes, trains etc. Bronze casting and patinating is by arrangement with a neighbouring foundry.
