A film prop in the form of a very unusual montage model of Hemel Hempstead’s most recognisable features. The film’s producer grew up in Hemel and wanted to focus very closely on three or four tight districts of the town. The surrounding green fields added to the sense of self-containment. The film prop was produced in a very short timescale and delivered in person to a film production facility in Hertfordshire where it was used both for film-shots and also for publicity to the residents of Hemel.
