These patterns were approached in exactly the way that a traditional pattern-maker would start out. Using some very badly decayed parts from a classic car as a reference we made some sketch measurements and then fabricated exact replicas of the original parts, minus all the scars and distortion. One of our partners in the world of casting then produced a limited run of parts in 80 shore-A rubber.. In recent years industry has moved towards cad-drawings as the preferred starting point but with our pattern-making skills this stage is not always necessary.
